As National Poetry Month comes to a close, it’s been great to see all the events around town.\u00c2\u00a0 This does bring to mind a less than satisfying literary experience that took place long ago and far away, though I did get this little poem out of it:<\/p>\n

\nand most of all, a way with words\u00e2\u20ac\u201d
\nLet’s make a poem, shall we?
\nA poignant, patchwork little ditty,
\na driven moment of self-examination
\nor typing, though some can’t write
\nwithout just the right pen or sedative.
\nDon’t let that slow you down. The lines
\nwill find a way through the sediment
\nof your precious lives, and words will come
\nlike something something you can’t\u00e2\u20ac\u201d
\nor at least don’t care\u00e2\u20ac\u201dto explain.
\nNever hang around to explain, and
\neat the rest of those donuts or else
